How to record a session with Surfr?
📱⌚️ Pick your device
You can track sessions with your smartphone in two ways:
Wetsuit Mode: Place your phone in a waterproof pouch and tuck it into your wetsuit. Volume up! This way you can hear your jump height on the water.
Board Mount: Attach your phone to your board using a secure mount.
You can also record sessions with your smartwatch:
Apple Watch: Supports session tracking with features like live feedback and onboard coaching.
Android Wear OS Watches: Compatible models can track sessions and provide live data.
Garmin Watches: A selection of models offer session tracking capabilities.
⚙️ Set up and Calibrate
After installing, open the Surfr App on your selected device. Follow the on-screen prompts to calibrate. Proper calibration ensures accurate and consistent tracking of your session.
Once calibrated, you typically won’t need to repeat the process frequently. However, if you notice tracking issues, you can recalibrate anytime via the settings to troubleshoot and improve accuracy.
