🔔 Wind Alerts
Never miss the perfect session. Set a Wind Alert and get notified when the wind matches your preferences.
Go to Discover
Select your preferred spot
Tap the bel icon top right to Set Wind Alert.
Choose your preferred weather model (ECMWF, ICON, or GFS)
Set a minimum wind speed using the + / – controls
Decide how you want to be notified
You’ll receive a push notification by default, with the option to also get alerts by email. You can manage your alerts anytime from your Profile → Settings → Wind Alerts.
💡 Surfr checks forecasts every 3 hours and will notify you when the wind exceeds your selected threshold, up to 5 days in advance.
