Battery Saving mode disabled - Ensure battery saving mode is disabled on your device while recording a session. If this is enabled, we can't make enough measurements a minute which influences the measurements.

Android Watches
Quick Start from Homescreen - Activate the option to quickly launch the app or start a session without leaving your home screen:
Wake your watch.
Touch and hold the current watch face.
Tap Customize (or a pencil ⚙️/edit icon).
Swipe left/right until you reach the complication editing screen (you’ll see highlighted segments where complications can go)
Tap a complication area
Scroll down till you see Surfr and Select [Surfr - Open App] to open the app or [Surfr - Quick Record] to start recording right away
Permissions - For the best app experience, ensure all permissions are correctly enabled: Surfr App on Watch → Settings → Permissions. You should see 4/4 required permissions enabled. Also make sure to activate the recommended settings.
Water Lock Access - On Android watches, Water Lock is not enabled automatically. If your watch supports this feature, make sure to enable it in the watch settings. You can also configure a button combination in your Android Watch settings to quickly activate Water Lock.
Tip: On the Galaxy Watch Ultra, you can add Water Lock as a Quick Action on the Action Button for fastest access.
Touch Lock - (Samsung Watches only) This feature is available only on Samsung watch devices. Touch Lock disables the touchscreen but does not lock the buttons. On non-Samsung devices, only the device’s Water Lock feature is available. You can enable Touch Lock as an optional automatic setting if you prefer, but we generally recommend using Samsung’s Water Lock during sessions.
