While recording your session, Surfr broadcasts your location to the app’s Live section in Discover, allowing others to see where you're riding and view your latest jumps.
Live broadcasting shows where the action is happening. Your friends can easily see where to go to join your session and even get a better idea of which kite to pick based on the statistics and conditions.
The Live Broadcasting feature in the Surfr app not only fosters community engagement but also adds an extra layer of safety and interactivity to your watersport adventures.
🌐 Internet connection required – the watch needs a connection to broadcast: an eSIM, or on Garmin the connection to your phone.
⌚ Garmin: live broadcasting is part of Surfr 4 on watches in the Connected + Live category — see the Garmin Compatibility List — Surfr 4.0. It is not available on The Surfr. App - Legacy.
Your Privacy. Your Choice. Control who can see your exact location, and set different visibility for friends and others.
