Having trouble connecting Surfr to Strava or exporting your sessions? Try the steps below to get things working again.
đ Check your connection
Go to Profile â Settings â Connections
Make sure Strava is connected
If not, tap Connect and follow the steps
đ Reconnect Strava
If the connection seems broken:
Disconnect Strava in Settings â Connections
Close the Surfr app
Reopen the app and connect again
This often fixes sync issues.
đ€ Check export settings
Go to Settings â Connections
Make sure Auto export is enabled (if you want automatic uploads)
If auto export is off, youâll need to export sessions manually.
đ± Try manual export
Open the session you want to export
Scroll down and open the full map view
Tap the Strava logo (top right)
â±ïž Give it a moment
Sometimes syncing can take a bit longer.
Wait a few minutes after your session
Check if it appears in Strava shortly after
đ Check permissions in Strava
Make sure Surfr still has access:
Open Strava
Go to Settings â Apps / Connected Apps
Confirm Surfr is listed and authorised
đ Update the app
Make sure youâre using the latest version of Surfr
Update via the App Store or Google Play Store
