Garmin uses wrist-based sensors to detect your movements. To make sure your Garmin tracks your jumps accurately, we need the sensors to be aligned. All you need is a quick wrist movement calibration.
This short calibration helps the watch understand your position and ensure every jump gets tracked with precision.
Open the Surfr. app on your watch
You’ll be prompted to shake your wrist back and forth (watch the animation or video for guidance)
Do the movement a few times
That’s it. You’re calibrated and good to go.
Can be done anywhere—on the beach, in the parking lot, or right before your session.
💡 In the future, we hope to remove this step but that depends on Garmin.
They’ve confirmed that they’re working on it, and an update is expected in the coming months.
